Low Tide at Clew Bay

30 x 40

The locals in Ireland commented on how we had such clear weather on our visit- very little rain and even some sunshine. We had several clear sunsets at our stay in Westport and this was one of them.

As the amber sun was setting, it really played up the remarkable green that has made Ireland famous. The fishing boats were pulled up and the large one in the foreground had settled in the tidal mud as the water receded. Quite a scene! It really spoke to me of the harmonious relationship between the Irish and the sea.
