Around the Bend
9 x 12 The recurring theme of spring thaw is displayed again with this piece painted on location on the banks of a stream in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. I like the contrast of the cool whites of snow and ice mixed with the colors of the previous autumn. I prefer to portray the flowing water of this time of year that adds pleasant reflections of approaching warmer weather. |
