Into the Meadow
9 x 12 Many irrigation ditches evolve into more streamlike configurations after decades of use. Meanders develop as straight channels get worked over by the elements. The water in the foreground of this painting enters from a ditch off the creek and resembles a natural flow. The cabin is a remant of a once much larger mining camp from over a hundred years ago. |
