Oxbow Sunset
28 x 22 One of my favorite hikes is around some oxbows on the Alamosa Ranch, a city owned unprotected open space. Water is scarce in most years but occasionally the Rio runs full and strong and the surplus water fills old river courses such as this. Match this with a killer sunset and some billowing thunderheads and you have a winner. |
