Santuario
9 x 12 I have painted from this spot several times with this view of the church at Ranchos de Taos. On the last paint out, the land owner next to the road I was painting on came out to see what I was up to. He informed me that the dirt road that I was on was the original road coming into Taos, laid out nearly 400 years ago. To accommodate cars a new route was constructed to the north of this spot and the once-busy road slipped into the existence of being a quiet country lane, frequented only by locals, the lost and inquisitive artists. |
