Spring in the mountains displays water, water everywhere. The snow is mushy and melting and the waterways are going full blast with muddy, dense runoff.
I painted this on a wonderful warm day as bugs were hatching and landing in my paint. Some bug parts are no doubt imbedded in this piece.
