This is a plein air piece from above Creede on East Willow Creek. There is a small section of the canyon that still has some original dwellings that have survived town fires and time itself. I was attracted to the relic windows  and snow patterns as well as the creek with some of the old- time log cribbing set to contain the creek. The remnants of the old jail house are nearby.
